There are several other dominant Iowa gambling dens, including Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 square feet, 1,212 one armed bandits, and 39 table games.
A tinier Iowa gambling den is the Diamond Jo, a river boat gambling den in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 slots, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend river boat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 sq.ft., 535 one armed bandits, and 14 table games. An additional Iowa river boat gambling hall, The Isle of Capri, is available all day and night, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 slots, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot river based gambling den in Clinton, has 506 slots, 14 table games, live entertainment, and Thursday 21 events.
Iowa casinos present a great deal of tax income to the state government of Iowa, which has allowed the funding of a lot of state wide activities. Visitors have increased at a rapid percentage along with the requirement for processors and an increase in employment.
